Etna snowmobile tour gives you the opportunity to have fun and explore Mt. Etna also during the winter months.

The Snowmobile Tour begins at 1500 mt; after crossing a pine forest, we will reach the majestic 2002 lava flow which lasted 3 months. This tour showcases one of the world’s most spectacular scenery: the snow-capped volcano Etna and its stunning surroundings. Enjoy the most exhilarating activity in Etna’s wilderness. The intensely beautiful landscape of snow-bound forests feels like this mountain was made for exploring by snowmobile.

Adventure lovers and intrepid travelers…come join us for a fun-filled activity! The Etna Snowmobile Tour is suitable for all age groups and also for those with no previous experience of snowmobiling. Snowmobiling is an unmissable experience when visiting Sicily in winter, as it offers the chance to explore deeper into the wilderness. First, the instructor will explain to you the basics of driving a snowmobile, the tour will then start from a designated trail in the pine forest, where we will truly enjoy driving the snowmobile: you will get an adrenaline rush while enjoying the breathtaking views. We will then reach the 2002 lava flow, one of the most dramatic Etna’s eruptions, where we will stop to take in the amazing scenery and take some photos. We will then return to the starting point.

Before starting the tour, there will be the opportunity to have a coffee or use the toilet

In the pine forest

First, we will cross a pine forest with a wonderful snowmobiling trail.

Lava flow from 2002

After approximately 30 minutes, we will get the 2002 lava flow We will enjoy the panorama and make some photos

End of the excursion

After a 1 hour snowmobile tour, we will return to the starting point
